Mesa began building her repertoire as a trainee with Silicon Valley Ballet in 2016, dancing Corps de Ballet roles in ballets such as Alicia Alonzo’s Giselle and Karen Gabay’s The Nutcracker. During this time, she was also invited to work with Smuin Ballet in their performance of The Christmas Ballet. In 2018, she moved to Portland, Oregon where she joined Oregon Ballet Theater's Second Company. She danced Corps de Ballet roles in several ballets including George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, August Bournonville's Napoli, and Ben Stevenson’s Cinderella. Mesa joined the Sacramento Ballet in 2019 where she currently still dances. This is Mesa's first year performing with Sensory Friendly Dance.
