Dominique Wendt
Dancing the role of a "Hunter" in Peter and the Wolf

Dominique returns this year for her second summer with CDP.  Although born in San Francisco, Dominique grew up just east in Concord, CA where she started her extensive dance training. She received her ballet education at Contra Costa Ballet, San Francisco Ballet School, BalletMet Academy & Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School before beginning her professional ballet career at the Sacramento Ballet in 2017. Between rehearsals, Dominique can often be seen leisurely reading or catching up on schoolwork as she is currently working towards her BA through the St. Mary’s LEAP program for professional artists. She has appeared in Sacramento Ballet’s 2018 production of Giselle, George Balanchine’s Serenade, Donizetti Variations, Theme & Variations, Ron Cunningham’s Carmina Burana & within various roles of The Nutcracker.
